Filling & Packaging Operator
Job Description Summary
The Filling and Packaging Operator is responsible for performing required routine pouching, bagging, labeling packaging.In addition, the Fill and Packaging Operator will support bottling, filling, TruCOUNT boxing and label preparation processes
according to established procedures. He/she must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must also be able to read,
understand and complete all packaging documentation including batch records, standard operating procedures, material
specifications and material requests among others. He/she must possess strong basic computer and analytical skills. The
Filling and Packaging Operator must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, highly diverse, team-oriented environment.

1. Section for Job Summary/Purpose:
The role of the Filling & Packaging Technician is to produce high quality sterile products in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), regulatory requirements and established procedures.
2. Section for Job Responsibilities:
• Performing all filling, packaging and labelling processes according to established procedures.
• Ensure adherence to cGMPs and other regulatory standards.
• Conduct line clearances after equipment shutdowns or product changes.
• Participating in scheduled team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Maintaining appropriate documentation for all steps of the manufacturing process.
• Recognizing and reporting any deviation from normal operation.
• Taking corrective action for minor problems.
• Assisting with maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Wearing protective clothing as required.
• Adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
3. Section for Job Qualifications:
• Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Skills: Ability to read, write and speak English; basic math skills; ability to use computers.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory requirements for medical devices.
• Training: Successful candidate must be able to complete training on time which includes classroom and hands-on activities.
• Certification: None Required.
• Physical Demands: Lifting up to 20 lbs., standing for long periods of time, bending and stooping.
• Travel Requirements: <10%
