Position Summary: 
The internship program at BD offers you the opportunity to gain experience in various areas of finance such as accounting and financial planning & analysis.  You will work on projects for our business units which are related to your field of study and career interests. The assignments are designed to give you real-world experiences and practical applications of concepts learned in the classroom. In addition to working on your assigned project(s), you will have the opportunity to network with senior leaders and other employees throughout the organization.  

Responsibilities: 

• Work on meaningful projects that help further our mission of improving lives through innovative medical solutions.  

• Gain exposure to all aspects of finance including but not limited to accounting, financial reporting, tax, treasury, risk management, compliance, internal audit, financial planning & analysis, supply chain, business development, marketing, and sales.  

• Network with senior leaders and other employees throughout the organization.  

Qualifications: 

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.  

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.  

• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.  

• Ability to commit to full-time employment for 12 months after graduation if offered a position.  

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  

• Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

For most roles, we require a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week to maintain our culture of excellence and ensure smooth operations, while also recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements which will be indicated in the job posting.
