Shift: Friday - Sunday e/o Thursday (6:00 am - 6:30 pm)

OVERVIEW

  • This position is responsible for the movement of products in and out of the Sterilization facilities.

  • Moves products via a forklift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Loads outbound trailers

  • Verification of products, lots and quantities via a Sterilization control document

  • The routing of products/pallets to the designated areas

  • Inspection of products for damages

  • Product lot verification via the HighJump Inventory Management system

  • Complete JDE transactions utilizing IBM Data Collection

  • Control the flow of pallets on the dock

  • May be required to physically re-stack products on another pallet

  • Ability to cross train various positions within the Sterilization faculties

  • Ensures all assigned duties are safely completed in a timely manner in accordance with department standards and by following department procedures.

  • Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in GMPs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to read and interpret the Sterilization documents

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

  • Experienced in the safe operation of material handling equipment.

  • Licensed to operate material handling equipment

  • Attention to detail

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School education or equivalent

  • 2 years of Forklift Experience on a Stand-up lift (Preferred)

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Good verbal communication skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Must have good basic math skills.

REASONING ABILITY   

  • Ability to solve practical problems.  

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form. 

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
