An exciting opportunity is available for a Northern Sales Specialist within our Diagnostic Oncology division. This field-based role involves developing and driving new business growth for BD’s prostate biopsy and core needle portfolio. Working with a range of biopsy equipment for Prostate, Lung, Liver, and soft tissues, you will support clinicians and healthcare providers in delivering advanced medical procedures. You will cover the South East and South West, primarily with key focus across London and the South Coast , with 4 days in the field and occasional overnight stays.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a clinical environment, providing hands-on technical support, influencing customer decisions, and managing a diverse portfolio to improve patient outcomes.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Expand the prostate biopsy portfolio by promoting the transperineal biopsy technique.
- Build strong relationships with Urology Surgeons, Radiologists, and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
- Manage and transition accounts to new procedural approaches while identifying areas for business growth.
- Support clinical cases by providing comprehensive product and procedural training.
- Organise and drive attendance to training workshops aimed at improving clinical excellence.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and develop influential clinical partners.
- Explore opportunities to expand the core needle portfolio into lung, liver, and other soft tissue areas.
- Deliver value-based propositions to clinical and procurement teams.
About you:
- Demonstrated success in medical sales, with a proven ability to introduce new products and drive business growth in line with strategic goals.
- Adept at managing diverse accounts, building rapport with new clients, and strengthening relationships within existing networks.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a track record of influencing clinical and operational decision-makers.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills to balance client-facing and administrative responsibilities effectively.
- Experience working with Urology and Radiology departments is advantageous, along with expertise in tender preparation and execution.
- Highly driven, adaptable, and skilled in problem-solving, with a focus on achieving results in complex healthcare environments.
- While medical device experience is preferred, candidates with a strong background in sales and a willingness to develop within this field are welcome.
