Ons team van Accountmanagers en Clinical Consultants biedt binnen Nederland training, ondersteuning en service aan onze (potentiele) zorgklanten, gericht op de keuze en het gebruik van IV-katheters. Hierbij richten we ons met name op zorginstellingen, ziekenhuizen en thuiszorgorganisaties. Ons team bestaat momenteel uit 9 accountmanagers en 3 Clinical Consultants en we zouden jou heel graag willen verwelkomen in ons team als 4e Clinical Consultant.


Jou werkgebied is momenteel nog vrij in te delen en zal afhankelijk zijn van waar jij woont. Dit betreft een zelfstandige/zelfsturende functie waarbij je dus samen met je collega's clinical consultants en Accountmanagers naar onze zorgklanten op locatie zult gaan waar jij advies zult gaan geven over het gebruik van onze IV-katheters en aanverwante producten voor IV-therapie.

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.

About the role

As a Clinical Consultant, your primary focus will be to stimulate and support strong and balanced growth.

In this role, you will report to the Medical Affairs Manager MDS for the Benelux region and work closely with the Benelux Marketing Team and the Dutch sales team. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing valuable clinical services and programs that align with industry standards and contribute to sales growth and critical initiatives.

You will become the clinical guide of our team, collaborating and coordinating with relevant Benelux, European, and international colleagues to develop, adapt, and implement programs in the assigned regio

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Scientific & technical customer support
  • Build and lead valuable clinical services for partner accounts
  • Lead clinical projects for designated accounts
  • Develop, promote, and deliver clinical packages - education and training
  • Ensure assessment and competence of personnel interacting with customers regarding clinical knowledge
  • Strong KOL Development - Build positive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to support the services and solutions portfolio, ensuring their presence and support at conferences, study days, company events, and events
  • Participate in European workgroups, including clinical, sales, and marketing groups, as needed
  • Help maintain and continuously update the clinical/product database with relevant articles, reports, publications, and national guidelines
  • Handle product complaints that require clinical investigation as needed
  • Upon sales management request, support the regional sales team through joint customer visits, including communicating and delivering clinical services, clinical evidence, etc.
  • Help, contribute, and collaborate between MDS and other divisions within BD
  • Support Clinical/Sales/Marketing manager, if desired, with coaching by providing feedback on performance directly to the sales team and/or manager
  • Support Marketing in developing solution/product campaigns, clinical guidelines, literature, and product launches

  • Certified Nurse
  • Proficient in Dutch & English
  • An adaptable and forward-thinking individual who can analyze trends and help shape effective strategies that give us a competitive advantage.
  • Confirmed problem-solving skills and a planned, process-oriented approach
  • Action and results-oriented in a highly competitive market with a high level of self-awareness and maturity
  • A reliable and encouraging individual dedicated to and passionate about healthcare and the success of Medical Surgical Systems.
  • Confident in delivering presentations and training/education to small and large customer groups (internal and external)
  • Excellent communication skills that work optimally with all levels of customers, both internal and external
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and follow through
