About the role

The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts across MENA region by ensuring high customer satisfaction through regular visits, proactive engagement, and case support in clinical settings (e.g. OR, ICU/CCU, Cath Lab, EP Lab). You will be attending industry events, demonstrate strong product and market knowledge, support and develop the distributor's sales force and ensure accurate follow-up with end users in line with forecasts and targets.

The Account Manager must ensure compliance with all relevant regulations e.g. quality, environmental, ethical etc, and have a good understanding of BD policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve territorial sales targets.
  • Achieve sales targets, profitability, and market share in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders in relevant specialties.
  • Coordinate and conduct seminars/events to promote BD products, that includes but not limited to Workshops, events, and webinars.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Professional Education, Clinical Services, and Marketing to deliver a high-end educational journey for healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure regular visits to all customers (hospitals, clinics, labs, etc.) tailored to the needs of each individual customer.
  • Handle evaluations and trainings with high-level clinical discussions with healthcare professionals.
  • Identify and prepare tender opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and pricing.
  • Conduct distributor training.
  • Strive to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Align with all aspects of the ISO 9001 Quality System and relevant regulations and BD policies - including quality, environmental, and ethical standards.
  • Adhere to all HSE guidelines and requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical/paramedical or equivalent.
  • Experience working in Medical Devices industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English & Arabic is essential.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to establish and cultivate effective business relationships internally and externally.
