Our vision for “function or BU” at BD
Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance.
About the role
As Sales representative, you will be responsible to achieve business plans by implementing and changing strategies per customer as needed, to maintain and grow the current business by establishing excellent relationships with and support to customers.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Identify and develop new business
- Be available for theatre support, if needed, also after hours
- Establish relationships with clients including hospital personnel, theatre staff, pharmacy manager, stock controllers etc.
- Assist when and where required at organized exhibitions and meetings to promote BDI products through demonstrating the clinical features and benefits of product ranges
- Conduct in service training and product demonstrations to promote the accurate use of BDI products in territory
- Provide competitive information such as tenders, pricing data, or bundling arrangements in order to establish pricing structures for assigned products.
- Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Manages consignment stock to minimize risk
- Contribute to the positive integrity of the team at all times.
