What is expected of you and others at this level in Direct Sales Management for Functional success
• Responsible for Automation Solutions for Parata Systems in the LTC closed door pharmacy space.
• Provides leadership and guidance to sales executives and professional staff
• Creates and executes comprehensive strategies to exceed Regional sales objectives
• Creates and executes effective strategies to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
• Has in-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge, as well as deep territory knowledge and customer relationships
• Develops value-added solutions that meet customer business needs and shares key learnings with others
• Develops broad influence through a robust set of internal/external relationships across the organization; promotes win-win outcomes within, among and across teams, using the diverse perspectives of others to achieve results
• Creates challenging roles and responsibilities to build organization capabilities and fill capability gaps
• Creates and implements succession plans for managing talent within and from outside the organization
• Makes decisions, often difficult and/or unpopular, that support the organization strategy; influences others to support the decisions

Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred
• Minimum 6-10 years healthcare sales management experience
Significant sales experience specifically in the long-term care pharmacy space required.
• Ability to travel 50% - 75% of time (based on candidate’s location)
• Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills
• Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards
• Experience in Long Term Closed Door Pharmacy & Industry Knowledge is required.

Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales in the long term care market by developing new business relationships and retaining existing customers through strategic selling techniques to achieve individual financial goals and regional objectives. This will be accomplished by managing all assigned territory and accounts within the region. The position will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement account plans utilizing consultative selling skills to develop new business relationships and retain existing customers through strategic selling techniques to achieve individual financial goals and regional objectives.

  • Identify key decision makers and influencers within targeted accounts and develop strong relationships throughout the organization.

  • Gather customer needs and develop appropriate product solutions for each prospect or existing customer.

  • Manage all assigned territory and accounts within the region.

  • Meet or exceed individual financial goals.

  • Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and other regulatory bodies regarding sales practices and promotional activities.

  • Assist in the development of sales tools such as presentations, brochures, training materials, etc.

  • Collaborate with internal departments including Customer Service, Clinical, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure high level of service delivery to our customers.

  • Attend trade shows and industry meetings to represent Ascensia Diabetes Care.

  • Educate customers on proper use of products according to approved guidelines and protocols.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master's preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device sales

  • Previous experience in long term care setting strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of diabetes management preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Highly motivated to succeed

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to travel within the territory

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
