Forklift Operator - 1st shift
Job Description Summary
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of facility to ensure good housekeeping practices are followed at all timesMaintain safety procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and BD Safety policies and procedures
Ensure proper documentation practices are maintained consistently
Assist with training new employees on equipment operation and standard operating procedures
Assist with troubleshooting production equipment as needed
Provide assistance with inventory control including cycle counts as required
Accurately complete paperwork/documentation including but not limited to training sheets, equipment logs, and Standard Operating Procedures
Other duties as assigned

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday 6:00AM-2:00PM
Responsibilities:
Performs basic preventive maintenance checks on equipment such as changing light bulbs or replacing batteries
Completes work assignments within specified time frames
Follows departmental dress code policy
Wears protective gear as required
Maintains positive attitude towards co-workers and management
Communicates effectively through verbal and written channels
Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration skills
Conducts self regularly to meet both customer and organizational expectations
Utilizes available resources to resolve problems
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Basic computer skills required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
Ability to lift 50 lbs./23 kgs. repeatedly
Available for overtime as required (preferred)
Familiarity with ISO standards and GMP guidelines (preferred)
Able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by supervisor
Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
