We are offering more flexibility! This position can be either full time or part time based on need and individual agreement.

We are looking for an experienced Market Development Manager (MDT), with a proven track record in Healthcare, to work within our PI EMEA team leading a team of BD Associates focused on HCP Education. Working with and aligning with PI WW Portfolio Strategy and Medical Affairs teams.

The Market Development Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing and leading a team across EMEA
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners to design, develop and implement a worldclass HCP training programs with Marketing & Sales
  • Supports SFE Team in creating and executing training material for ongoing clinical education of salesforce
  • Monitors salesforce performance and works with sales to execute medical education initiatives
  • Builds relationships with KOLs to support our HCP Education Programs and other marketing activities
  • Audits completed trainings to evaluate and measure effectiveness of trainings and continuously looking for improvement opportunities
  • Leads the execution of assigned project workstreams/deliverables
  • Supports commercial team with cases by conducting virtual and in person training 
  • Develops targeted tools and presentations to form the foundation for HCP Educational presentations
  • Offers a range of activities to reach different learning styles when presenting utilising Adult Learning techniques
  • Maintains a high level of communication with Sales around training needs, key accounts, and field activities
  • Creates platforms to define and track KPI’s.
  • Work closely with Medical Affairs to align Physician Training program logistics.
  • Coordinate case coverage, certification, external training for strategic product/initiative(s).
  • Supporting Key accounts and customers through case coverage for complex procedures.

Tools, Processes & Communication:

  • Improve the efficiency of tools used by the commercial teams
  • Leads the communication and change management on HCP Training topics within the sales organisation
  • Utilize all BD resources to drive initiatives, such as SFDC, BD Learning Academy, etc
  • Provides recommendations on how to optimise roles and responsibilities in the Clinical Sales organisation

Relevant qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience in sales, clinical or equivalent
  • Proven ability to manage complexity and thrive in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances
  • Strong passion and track record for innovation and will to make things happen
  • Strong will and drive for delivery of impact and outcomes
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in Medical device industry, IT and/or consultancy background a plus
  • Experience in working in a multinational or international environment
  • Business savvy with strong commercial mind-set
  • Strategic agility, with conceptual thinking and analytical skills

Required competencies, Skills and Experience

  • Previous People management Experience
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Project management skills, collaboration, attention to detail, time, and budget management, etc. Experience working with complex business models e.g. MS/MES
  • The ability to engage, involve and influence cross functional teams (sales, marketing, technical) to drive the required outcome for the customer.
  • Proven experience in the distribution of complex solutions in the healthcare sector.
  • Evidence based track record in solution selling and cross functional selling.
  • Willingness to expose oneself to new, diverse, ambiguous situations. In these situations, rapidly adapts and identifies key levers of success.
  • Learns from past experiences, shares knowledge with others and applies it to new challenges and environment.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
