Opportunity Summary

The Senior Solution Architect is part of the TGS Enterprise Digital Platforms Organization and will be focused on implementation of the BD Marketing and E-Business Digital, Data and Analytics capabilities, transforming omni channel marketing and digital experience across the enterprise. The Senior Solution Architect will be part of agile teams and will be responsible for the architecture, design, and delivery for solutions across the marketing and ecommerce technology stack.  The Senior Solution Architect works closely with teams across technology domains to create a modular, scalable solutions across the Marketing and Ecommerce technology stack.

Primary Objectives and Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing Java/Spring based applications, adhering to architectural best practices and industry standards.

• Collaborating with team members to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements; provides guidance based on intimate familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot features and requirements.

• Creating technical specifications and providing guidance to development teams.

• Works with different vendors and partners for the successful delivery of projects.

• Analyzing system bottlenecks and implementing performance optimization strategies.

• Ensuring security measures are integrated into the application architecture.

• Reviewing and evaluating existing Java / Spring frameworks and recommending enhancements.

• Leading the development team by providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support.

• Conducting code reviews to identify potential issues and maintain code quality standards.

• Should be able to understand and channelize escalation process as and when required by understanding and flagging the risks.

• Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• 11+ years of experience in the IT industry.

• 5+ years of project lead or project management experience

• 10+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the Java based frameworks like Spring, CCv2, AEM.

• Experience in SaaS based deployment model.

• Should have managed a minimum of a 10-member team.

• Cloud Portal experience like managing AWS or Azure

• Ability to be a good mentor and be able to motivate the team.

• Possess good people management and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to review team performance and plan career paths

• Ability to take ownership and accountability of the projects.

• Ability to oversee multiple projects as well as be hands on

• Adobe –Target experience preferred
