BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.

About the role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for providing support on projects, sales activities, commercial operations and distributor management. They will provide customer training activities and work closely with KOLs and internal key partners.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the development of annual sales plans for assigned accounts.
  • Establish good relations between the organization and key opinion leaders in their area of responsibility and inform them about products, new technology, and promotional activities.
  • Organize scientific meetings such as symposia, seminars, and workshops to promote BD products and establish BD as a partner of choice.
  • Implement marketing strategies defined by the Sales and Marketing Manager through direct contact with customers (e.g., hospitals and clinics) and end users (e.g., physicians and nurses).
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all external and internal collaborators.
  • Coordinate with distributors and other marketing personnel on marketing programs.
  • Management is required to prepare reports (e.g., competitive activity, product trends, customer usage, selling and distribution expenses, and territory analysis).
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and BD policies regarding ethical business practices.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as management directs

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in business administration or a healthcare degree. MBA is a plus.
  • Relevant experience in pharma or healthcare/ medical devices
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS-Word, MS-Excel & MS-PowerPoint)
  • Knowledgeable working on spreadsheets, graphs & presentation slides (i.e. pivot tables)
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Data analysis focused – strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong team player
