About the position
As an Operations Quality Engineer (m/w/d) you are responsible to improve the BD Rowa product quality by reducing the defect rate of parts and sub-assemblies that are detected during operations and installation processes.
You develop and implement programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement. You Develop policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and improve the same.
Please note, this is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract position, with possibility to extended.
General Responsibilities
- Develop and improve procedures and methods to analyze and reduce Quality Notifications and Out of Box Failures, supported by systematic root cause analysis and Gemba Walks
- Prepare and report of quality trends, performance, root causes and countermeasure to leadership
- Own, develop and apply process validation, including performing capability studies of testing equipment, maintaining and developing documentation and regular review of processes
- Handle Complaints (customer, internal, supplier), including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Develop, define and continuously improve internal procedures, applications (ERP, CAQ, Quality Data Repository) and methods to improve the Quality Management system
- Support process improvement initiatives, develop and establish local processes in accordance with Corporate Procedures
- Support and own Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) projects and implement relative action items
- Perform techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Perform internal audits, support external audits
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a regulated environment (Iso 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
- Experience with problem solving methods (CAPA, 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, A3)
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software required
- Experience in auditing techniques is an asset
