Job Description Summary
BARD is seeking to appoint a full-time Territory Manager (TM) for its New South Wales Biopsy business.  The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing sales of our biopsy products within the assigned territory in line with overall Company strategy and objectives. The role will require extensive liaison with key stakeholders including health care professionals, hospitals, clinics, distributors, and other external customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new accounts/territories for expansion.

  • Develop and maintain existing customer relationships through regular contact with customers and relevant staff members at all levels.

  • Provide technical advice and support to both internal and external customers on all aspects of our product range.

  • Assist in the development of new products or improved versions of existing products where opportunities exist.

  • Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with fairly and promptly.

  • Maintain records as required by BARD and provide periodic reports on sales, market trends, competitor activity etc.

  • Liaise with Marketing regarding promotional activities and advertising initiatives.

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure stock availability.

  • Work closely with the Sales Team to maximize sales opportunities.


Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Science or equivalent experience.

  • Proven track record in sales management preferably within the medical device industry.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build trust internally and externally.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

  • High level of computer literacy essential with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

  • Experience in dealing with medical professionals and hospital administration desirable.

  • A current driver’s license.

  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the state.
