About the role
• To allign customer needs to BD solutions, creating partnership and supporting customers in all the phases of the sales process (pre-sales; sales and post-sales)
• To identify and address the right value proposition following the counterpart's expectations, according to the BD Way of Selling
• To manage and plan own activities following priorities for the business as well as customer needs. Work for priorities to achieve optimization of workflow and enhance customer satisfaction
• To contribute to sales not only focusing on products but giving value to the whole solution, including the unique scientific support available for the customers
• To be responsible for training and education of hospital/university staff
• To be responsible for continuous updating of the proper use of products and instruments, as well as of demonstrating new technologies.
About you
Educated to Degree level or PhD in Biology with a specific focus on flow cytometry.
A consistent record of clinical success in the private medical or public environment, you’ll be a strategic thinker who anticipates trends and can contribute to creating competitive breakthrough strategies. Well-versed in immunology with an understanding of flow cytometry in clinical care and private hospital groups, your sound grasp of the consultative selling process will complement good problem-solving skills and an understanding of project management. You’ll also bring:
strong all-round communication and presentation skills
ideally, ambassador or application specialist experience
client focused.
