Job Responsibilities:(Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

  • Complies with the production program according to the time and quantity established.
  • Develops and keeps a trained and motivated work force.
  • Keeps overtime within budget.
  • Monthly reports the operations results of the area.
  • Elaborates the annual and quarter PMP’s plans (reports results).
  • Participates in the internal audit programs.
  • Makes the sure the products produced in the Business Unit are manufactured according to the applicable specifications.
  • Assures to keep a cordial and respectful environment between supervisor and subordinate.
  • Plans and participates directing the trainings required in the area.
  • Trains his supervisors and/or Materials Analyst in JDE system related to production (example: report of hours and quantities, scrap, work orders reconciliation, inventory adjustments).
  • Assures inventory veracity in MF locations, correct load and tracking of components in works orders.
  • Maintains a maintenance group, responsible of providing preventive and corrective maintenance to the production equipment, trained. 
  • Maintains an adequate PM program for all the equipment, documenting results according to approved procedures.
  • Maintains the Maintenance Department expenses within the budget.
  • Give support to other projects.
  • Responsible for maintaining the entire production equipment in good operational order.
  • Searches for cost improvements opportunities using Lean 6 Sigma technologies.
  • Follow up of open actions of Tier II daily meetings

Education and Experience:

Completed Bachelor’s Degree.

Previous experience in similar position preferably 5 years.

Internal promotion that meets the profile and 2 years work experience in medical industry preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Capacity to take decisions.

Delegates and organizes responsibilities to his subordinates.

Manages multiple tasks and assignations.

Statistical Tools.

Lean Manufacturing deployment experience.

Language Skills

Intermediate
