Technical Services Trainee
Job Description Summary
The role of the Technical Service trainee is to support the technical services team in their daily tasks such as repairing instruments or responding to customer queries. This will involve learning how to use diagnostic equipment used for testing, calibrating and maintaining medical devices. The trainee will also learn how to identify problems and provide solutions for instrument issues. Additionally, they will be responsible for keeping accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each device.Job Description
Main responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of instrument/system failures
- Communicate with internal and external customers to assist in troubleshooting and problem solving
- Disassemble instruments to repair or replace defective parts and reassemble instruments
- Maintain service test equipment and instruments
- Monitor pending work to ensure completion within established timeframes
- Provide feedback to Quality Control regarding instrument/component performance
- Accurately document service work completed (e.g., work orders, instrument history, communication logs)
About you
- Currently studying an engineering degree
- Internship agreement (Convenio de prácticas con Universidad) is required
- Language skills: Fluent Spanish & English
