About the role

Become Sales Manager for BDI Surgery products in Czech and Slovakia!

As Sales Manager you will achieve sales and gross profit targets for dedicated group of products on the country level. You will manage and coach subordinate sales team and you will directly support National Sales Manager.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Achievement sales and gross profit targets (month, quarter, year) on the country level.

  • Development, motivating, supporting and managing subordinate sales team.

  • Leading tender processes on the country level (pricing policy, tenders pricing).

  • Promotion of selected products from BDI Surgery portfolio in accordance with applicable sales and marketing strategy (Key Customer, distributors direct responsibility)

  • Continuous analysis current and historical sales and sales team activities in hospitals on the country level (BD products and main competitors).

  • Supporting sales team in selection and prioritize Target Accounts and Key Customers.

  • Building business relationships within hospitals to improve sales of a specified range of products by creating and developing “Best Practice” procedures related to Added Value products on dedicated area.

  • Attending in the meetings, conferences and exhibitions to promote both BD company image and selected range of products.

  • Building relationships and communicate with key clinicians and opinion leaders to maintain awareness of ‘Best Practice’, trends and procedures that are related to Added Value products on dedicated area.

  • Direct collaboration with other members of BDI team.

  • Proceeding in accordance with procedures and policies applicable in BD.

About you

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in direct management sales team in hospital market and a practical knowledge in terms of hospitals tender processes.

Additionally, to the above experience we would be ideally looking for:

  • An understanding of the Health Care Industry, Czech Health Care System, key drivers and influencers to establish effective account objectives.

  • Ability to analyze sales numbers

  • Tendering process knowledge on the hospital level.

  • PC Skills – use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  • Active driving license.

  • Commercial understanding.

  • Self-organized, punctuality.

  • Influencing skills – communication, listening.

  • Communication and presentation Skills –verbal and non-verbal to a high standard.

  • Action oriented, customer focused.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Organization skills – being able to organize workshops, seminars, meetings etc. self dependently.

  • English - Advanced.
