Job Summary:
The Senior Global Product Manager will be responsible for leading a high growth category in the PIVC Global Business. The role reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of the product development process through collaboration with key internal and external partners (R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Sales, Operations, etc.) to ensure timely completion of projects within budgeted costs.
Provide direction on clinical/technical evaluations of existing and proposed products.
Ensure the successful launch of new products by developing and implementing marketing plans which include strategies, tactics, sales forecasts, pricing and cost estimates.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, Operations, Regulatory) to ensure alignment on commercialization strategy and implementation.
Conduct market research to identify trends, driven offerings, unmet needs and opportunities.
Develop promotional materials such as advertising, brochures, posters, manuals, web content, presentations, etc.
Support customer education efforts via training sessions, webcasts, trade shows, etc.
Prepare financial models, conduct marketing surveys and analyze data to develop appropriate pricing strategy and product positioning.
Monitor product performance, price sensitivity, profitability and consumer preferences; provide feedback to Sales and R&D.
Assist in obtaining regulatory approval and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of product management work experience required, preferably in medical device industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and influence senior management.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to travel up to 20% globally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong project management skills with demonstrated success handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience working in a fast paced, high performing environment highly desirable.
