Position Summary:
The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for managing and driving growth within the PowerGlide™ franchise, and a new product launch. This Senior Marketing Manager, will also have responsibility to:
- Support the overall business objectives
- Developing and executing against annual / strategic marketing plan
- Collaborating closely with the sales force to drive growth
- Managing product financial performance, aligning business expectations to annual strategic initiatives
- Collaborating with Supply Chain and Operations to appropriately forecast incoming demand
- Collaborating with other marketing partners to develop integrated marketing plans/ campaigns
- Effectively partnering and collaborating with Global marketing partners and other cross functions (i.e. R&D, Clinical, Medical Affairs etc..) to ensure development and execution of comprehensive marketing and product strategy.
- Demonstrating Strategic Marketing Acumen with proven ability to conduct through market assessment driving to clear strategic recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant marketing experience – Preferably in medical device industry, but not necessary.
- Solid business acumen and knowledge of clinical market environment.
- Familiarity with vascular access devices and/or advanced placement devices preferred
- Experience in upstream (new product development) and downstream (demand generation) marketing
- Strong knowledge of working in a B2B environment; understanding of healthcare industry; exposure to cross-functional processes / requirements
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to help formulate and implement marketing and product strategies, convert these into tactical marketing plans, and deliver results.
- Experienced in Market Shaping
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, Customers, advisory boards etc
- Creative out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious, stays current on new trends, and takes calculated risks with novel ideas.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across and up the organization to effectively negotiate and persuade others.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to travel ~10 - 20% of the time for customer engagements
