Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Development and Integration Engineer to join the RapidRx R&D Team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and documenting custom deliveries of our product. You will work closely with customers to customize workflows and integrate our product with pharmacy management systems. Your deep understanding of our product offering will enable you to create appropriate configurations and integrations based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Customization and Integration:

• Design, test, and document custom deliveries of our product.

• Customize workflows and integrate our product with pharmacy management systems.

• Create appropriate configurations and integrations based on customer needs.

Testing Guidance:

• Review test plans and ensure sufficient coverage of edge cases, error cases, and success cases.

• Assist with hands-on software testing in a lab setting as necessary.

• Ensure customer feedback is integrated in functional and regression testing.

Customer and Team Guidance:

• Provide direct guidance to other teams within BD and customers.

• Meet with potential customers to assess if our product is the right fit for their needs.

• Prepare the implementation team with custom instructions.

R&D Tier Customer Support:

• Onboard and triage customer support issues.

• Solve technical issues by reviewing logs and replicating steps in a lab.

• Maintain high-quality troubleshooting guides for lower-tier support

Ticket Creation and Maintenance:

• Lead technical assessments and cross-team discussions on bug impacts and risks.

• Describe the reasons for our solution's behavior and direct changes in capabilities.

• Actively participate in backlog grooming and prioritization of technical debt.

Product Demos:

• Perform product demos to potential and existing customers.

• Tailor demos to specific needs, requiring preparation and configuration changes.

• Enable sales by showcasing our products in action, primarily from an office setting.

Hardware and Regression Testing:

• Provide meaningful regression testing guidance when changing components.

• Conduct lab testing of new hardware.

Collaboration and Innovation:

• Collaborate with other development teams to design interconnected systems.

• Encourage innovation and a fail-fast approach.

• Continuously improve our engineering process and technical capabilities.

Technical Leadership:

• Stay up to date on the latest software development methods, language features, and design philosophies.

• Contribute to the technology roadmap and manage tech debt work.

• Debug and perform performance analysis of deployed production systems.

• Monitor, test, and continuously optimize designs.

• Provide product leadership and coaching to team members.

• Master our development process, culture, and code base, and implement improvements within the team.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience with 3 to 5 years of experience designing, testing, and documenting custom product deliveries

• Proven experience in product integration and support.

• Strong understanding of pharmacy management systems and workflows.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in software development and debugging.

Desired Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience in STEM related field and 2 to 3 years proven experience designing, testing, and documenting custom product deliveries

• Experience with customer support and technical issue resolution.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies and standard processes.

• Ability to stay ahead of the latest software development trends and technologies.
