Job Description Summary
Generally, you will provide management and technical support to plant automation and control system to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes so as to achieve the department targeted indicators.You have to work closely and collaborate between operations teams and engineering team. Leading and complete all assigned improvement/upgrading projects within the agreed timeline and budget.

Responsibilities
- Lead in trouble shooting and provide solution to automation and control system problems.
- Initiate and follow up with automation and control system enhancement projects.
- Training and coaching of Production Technicians and operators on automation and control system troubleshooting and operations.
- Providing prompt feedback to the Engineers on automation and control system related issues.
- Recommend and work with Engineers regarding machine modification, enhancement and improvement ideas.
- Responsible to make connections to MES for equipment and instruments.
- Prepare test procedures, work instruction and validation protocol.
- Lead & execute process, software validation and compile completion report.
- Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance to our safety guidelines and SOPs.
- Perform any other given tasks as assigned.
Preferred Requirements
- Preferably a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with automation and control system.(Eg. Vision system, measurement equipment, etc.)
- Experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) & HMI programs. (Eg. Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens, etc.)
- Ability to interpret electrical and electronics wiring and schematic diagrams, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.
- Ability to carry out troubleshooting for machineries issues related to electrical, electronics components or pneumatic components.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of various types of sensors (temperature, proximity, photoelectric and etc.) and switches for automation and control system application.
- Ablilty to conduct process and software validations.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in teams.
