As a Rubber Molding Press Operator, load,operate, and unload press to produce rubber products consistent with product specifications, whilemaintainingproduction and quality standards and controlling waste. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Load raw material into press in a prescribed manner paying attention to weight and distribution of material for an even spread throughout the mold.

• Supervise press operation to make certain lubrication, temperature,tonnageand cycle times meet operating specifications for each product.  Report deficiencies to set-up.

• Maintain a clean organized work area disposing of waste and trash to assigned areas.

• Maintaincleanlinessof equipment and work area paying attention to oil, cured scrap, water and other foreign matter that could contaminate product before or aftercuring.

• Maintainaccurateproduction and quality records.

• Remove trim from pads.Inspect stoppers and work out defects.

• Process Pads through cooling unit.

• Place pads of stoppers on pallet or other assigned area.

• Observe all safety standards, environmental procedures and QSR’s.

Work Schedule: 3-2-2-3, Shift 8p-8a

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED desired

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment and/or 2-3 Years of Machine Operating experience preferred​​

• False eyelashes, press-on fingernails, and Jewelry is not allowed on the production floor including dermals.  Any associate wearing dermals will be required to cover them while working on the production floor. 

• Shoes are required to be Steel Toe and non-slip for all associates while on the production floor for safety purposes.
