Associate Product Manager, PI Oncology - Hybrid

Job Description Summary

As Associate Product Manager, PI Oncology, you will be responsible for marketing strategy development and implementation of assigned products in conjunction with Sales, Marketing Communications and other departments. You will be acccoutable for product training at both national sales meetings and local training session and assist in the identification of new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis. You will work closely with distributors to ensure they have adequate information and support to effectively promote products within their territory. Candidates will be expected to be onsite in our Tempe, AZ offices 4 days per week.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with corporate strategic goals and objectives.

  • Conduct market research on industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities for existing or future products.

  • Create advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate interest among potential customers.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control, Finance/Accounting, Legal, Human Resources, and Supply Chain Management to align product strategies across all aspects of the organization.

  • Monitor market performance metrics (e.g., pricing, profitability) to assess product effectiveness and inform future decisions.

  • Analyze customer feedback and data on product usage to identify areas for improvement and growth.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to product launches and promotional activities.

  • Support post-marketing studies and clinical trials to further evaluate product safety and efficacy.

  • Maintain accurate records of marketing materials, promotional activities, and customer interactions.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience with a minimum of 2 years in product management, the additional one or more years of experience may be in sales or a related discipline; candidates will preferably have experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries.

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data interpretation and statistical analysis.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.

  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of FDA regulations governing medical devices and promotion of prescription drugs.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical trial methodologies.
