Analyst S&OE
Job Description Summary
The EMI Analyst S&OE is an integral part of the Switzerland based EMI supply chain planning team and will on an interim basis report to the Swiss based Global Supply Chain Director, EMI. This role is located at the Tijuana manufacturing site and will be a key liaison between EMI supply planning, as well as other cross functional teams. The S&OE Analyst will be accountable for translating the Master Production Schedule (MPS) approved by Switzerland and converting it into a weekly production schedule for the EMI product lines the role is responsible for. The S&OE Analyst will ensure execution of the S&OE process by working with plant operations to identify any gaps against the same. Key responsibilities include leading the S&OE meetings within the Tijuana site, and tracking the relevant supply chain metrics of the plant. Additionally, the role will work with other plant stakeholders to identify risks & opportunities daily that could impact committed plan and escalate appropriately to ensure full visibility. The S&OE Analyst serves an integral EMI supply chain role working very closely with the plant on execution and also driving process improvement by embracing BD Excellence to deliver best in class results for our customers.Job Description
- Lead the S&OE process within the plant and follow up on execution of identified actions for their responsible product lines.
- Execute the rolling three-month MPS for Manufacturing approved by the Swiss EMI supply chain planning team.
- Provide on-site support for issue resolution/escalation to ensure end customer needs are met.
- Track key plant metrics for EMI product lines: Production plan attainment, Shipment adherence release lead time among other critical metrics. Develop a report out to ensure visibility of gaps to targets and work with the plant to develop gap closure plan.
- Track production performance daily and make decisions where needed to provide plant direction to avoid line downtime while ensuring the long-term plan adherence is met.
- Monitor daily shipments out of Tijuana into our DCs and work closely with our transport & regional partners to resolve any identified issues.
- Work closely with the plant to understand any barriers that team comes across to meet production plan and engage needed plant teams to identify solutions.
- Provide a report out to the Swiss EMI supply chain planning team on weekly basis including potential risks & opportunities.
- Participate in the S&OP meetings led by EMI supply chain Planning team and ensure the plants’ adherence to that plan on a daily/weekly basis by working with cross functional teams.
- Participate in Global Supply consensus meetings with the EMI planning team.
- Participation in the quarterly and annual budgeting/financial discussions so there is reconciliation between demand, plant volumes and supply plans with direction from EMI supply chain planning team.
- Recommend ERP applicable parametric settings and master data.
- Participant for all new product introductions or product discontinuation projects
- Manage purchase orders and communicate delivery information as needed.
- Frequently reviews and maintains the integrity of systems parameters (lot/order size, lead times, Days Forward Supply, Safety Stock) and provides data for Key Performance Metrics
- SAP, SCM, BI End-user
- Keeps abreast of the basic requirements for compliance in own area of work and complies with those requirements.
- Assess and document business processes through value stream mapping. Identify pain points and gaps. Develop and implement optimized flows and processes
