We are offering more flexibility! This position can be either full time or part time based on need and individual agreement.
For the BD Quality team we are seeking a Quality Specialist who collaborates with the professional services teams and the internal software manufacturer functions based in Vienna.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and continuously improve the validation services (GMP) for our pharmaceutical customers, working closely with the services teams (validation from the customer’s perspective)
- Actively contribute to product quality and safety on the manufacturer’s side as a member of the quality team (validation from the manufacturer’s perspective)
- Coordinate risk management with expert teams and enhance risk-based approaches in our Quality System
- Lead activities demonstrating validation of our infrastructure and software tools (internal validation)
- Perform supporting quality activities (for example CAPA, change control, PMS) as member of the Quality team
Preferred requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a quality role in medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Competence and expertise in relevant areas, for example software validation, standards compliance (ISO 13485 or ISO 9001), writing and improving processes, risk management/analysis, participation in multiple GMP validation projects in different roles
- Experience and interest in establishing and planning cross-functional processes and workflows for medical device and pharmacy software
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to abstract, preciseness.
- Interest in working in the health care business and in a regulated environment
- Fluent in English, German and other languages are a plus
The minimum annual gross salary for this position is €44,450.- (full-time basis, in: 'ST1/Einstiegsstufe'). Based on individual skills and experience, we offer appropriate additional payment.
