As a Product Manager, you will maintain and develop market expertise and translate the IDS strategy for the Molecular Diagnostics portfolio into tactical marketing and communication programs for country organizations. This role will specifically target business segments related to Sexually Transmitted Infections, Tuberculosis, and other respiratory infections on the BD MAX™ and BD COR™ platforms.

Our vision for Integrated Diagnostic Solutions at BD

By aligning and simplifying our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation around everything from integrated specimen management to diagnostic solutions.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Developing and driving the marketing and communication strategy in collaboration with Global and Country Marketing teams to achieve key product line strategic goals.
• Managing and monitoring demand drivers and commercial execution strategies, including pricing strategy, channel strategy, contracting, and product mix.
• Coordinating the launch of new products and the geographical expansion of the existing portfolio.
• Participating in key European projects and initiatives, leading project teams within the product group line, and providing input into business decisions and resource planning alongside the EMEA Molecular Senior Marketing Manager.
• Developing marketing expertise and proactively collaborating with team peers and other aligned business units across the region to develop the EMEA Integrated Diagnostic Systems Solutions Marketing Strategy.
• Coordinating activities with other functions required for the execution of launch and marketing/sales plans and commercial execution. These functions include regulatory affairs, medical and scientific affairs, supply chain, technical service, marketing communications, etc.

About you

• Degree in Molecular Science or similar education preferred
• Proven work experience in the life science industry (single country and multiple country levels).
• Experience in product and portfolio management including identifying market opportunities, market segmentation, targeted marketing, competitive analysis, pricing strategy and Go-to-Market models and strategies, with a strong customer centricity mindset.
• Proven experience working with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, be adaptable, flexible, and a proactive decision maker.
• Ability to influence decisions across diverse functional areas and geographies, to set priorities and follow through.
• Capacity to lead, coordinate and influence a project team.
• Good planning skills combined with high level of self-organization.
• Fluent in English and preferably one or more European languages: French, Spanish, Italian or German.
• Strong ability to work in a multicultural environment and have up to 40% travel willingness.
