About the role

The EMEA Sr. Business Development Manager is in charge of developing and implementing the strategic market development plan for Purewick in key markets. This includes driving and implementing go-to-market and reimbursement strategies to achieve growth targets. The role involves crafting economic, clinical, and ecological evidence plans, heightening awareness of the innovation, and engaging with key team members such as policy makers, payers, hospitals, and healthcare professionals. Additionally, the manager will assist with country launches, provide training, conduct customer evaluations, and communicate pricing strategies. They will evaluate activities and propose enhancements to boost commercial efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong strategic intuition for business, is focused on goals, and adopts a project management approach for effective implementation.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a strategic market development plan to successfully introduce Purewick to markets and accelerate growth.
  • Identify and analyze new trends and business opportunities for the urinary incontinence portfolio.
  • Develop deep insights through research, analytics, and customer feedback to inform marketing and product development decision-making, plans, activities, and the organization.
  • Evaluate and segment business opportunities into a strategic go-to-market approach.
  • Collect, analyze, and consolidate market insights to support country plans.
  • Proactively contribute to strategic innovation.
  • Support markets in analyzing campaign data/metrics across multiple channels.
  • Support Medical Affairs in collating qualitative and quantitative evidence on a range of outcomes.
  • In coordination with market access teams, support countries in capturing HEOR data to support reimbursement and funding.
  • Define pricing strategies in collaboration with marketing teams.
  • Analyze and segment all channels (acute hospitals, nursing homes, LTC, rehab centers, etc.) to support the development of segment-specific strategies to drive new business.
  • Build a network of KOLs and advocates for the relevant portfolio.
  • Develop and provide product training programs for BD collaborators and distributors as needed.
  • Define sales approach in various new fields and build the customer value proposition.
  • Build awareness, promotional campaigns, support countries’ adaptation, and evaluate performance.
  • Work in direct collaboration with Marketing and Sales to develop and implement a strong commercialising strategy for the product portfolio.
  • In collaboration with the EMEA Sales and Marketing team - accountable for achievement of unit and revenue budget for Purewick portfolio in the Homecare and Acute platforms.
  • Ensure alignment across key collaborators, including the relevant Business Unit associates, Country Business Leaders, and the field sales force.
  • Lead directly or indirectly a cross-functional multidisciplinary group of individuals with ambitious goals through multiple countries.
  • Engage with customers globally and locally to demonstrate standard processes and improve capabilities.
  • Ensure accurate execution and tracking using project management methodologies.

About you

  • MBA/Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing/Business/Life Sciences preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • English proficiency + additional EU language (French, German, Spanish, etc.).
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Confirmed Project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Market access and HEOR knowledge.
  • Home-based in EU with 50% travel across EMEA.
