About the Role

We are looking for an outstanding Intern who will join our Procurement team!

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing business and market intelligence, management of data and analytics, and tracking/reporting of procurement metrics

  • Spend and savings analysis

  • Ensuring data accuracy and completeness needed to provide robust analyses

  • Tracking of market indexes, preparing excel reports and presentations with the spend, savings, contract compliance

  •  Using key tools including software for data visualization of the complex data and purchase price cost analysis (PPCA) methodologies to determine should cost of the materials and services purchased by BD

  • Supporting Procurement Analysts


About you

  • Proficient English

  •  Min. Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or accounting/finance or an engineering degree - final years students are also welcome

  • Interest in development in Procurement/Engineering area

  • Advanced Excel knowledge and visualization software

  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively, present data, business cases, good time management and project prioritization

  • Quick learning and ability to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Previous internships in the purchasing, manufacturing, lab, or international environment will be an advantage


We offer

  • Paid internship for a fixed period – 3 months with possibility of extension, part-time

  • The Intern will have the opportunity to attend relevant training and meetings within the department

  • Many trainings including possibility to learn Power BI
