Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

• This position focus on environmental and occupational health Plan, coordinate, and execute EHS tasks such as different types of Risk Assessments (ergonomic, machine, area based, task based, etc), area hazard monitoring (ie Noise monitoring), and various medical surveillance tasks in coordination with occupational health (hearing, vision, drug screens, etc).
• Lead EHS Trainings with associates and update training materials as-needed. Leads Emergency Response Plan, Training, and Coordination Act as advocate for EHS on the shop floor and develop a speak up culture with associates.
• Conduct Incident Investigations, and drive the Corrective and Preventative Actions to completion.
• Fire-fighting system compliance supervision and security management
• Support for on-site visits with EHS regulators and auditors.
• Supports the roll-out of the EHS Component in BD Excellence Execute and track controlled document revisions and tracking of revisions for safety documents.
• Develop an understanding of the necessary rules and legal EH&S compliance, as well as company and industry loss prevention standards, providing facility supervisors with input on pertinent changes as necessary. This will include attending pertinent safety training seminars as needed.
• Obtain and maintain necessary legal certifications to conduct EHS business needs.
• Support department heads to establish, improve and optimize the factory EHS system and ensure the implementation of key systems.
• Conduct relevant training for employees on changes in existing documents or laws and regulations, etc.
• Responsible for EHS MOC
• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
