Reporting directly to the Associate Director, Central Fill, you will be at the forefront of managing the entire product lifecycle for software solutions, with a sharp focus on the Central Fill Customer Software Upgrade Strategy. You'll lead the Connect Product Management and Roadmap and spearhead Connect Commercial Excellence. You will also focus on optimizing recurring revenue streams through innovative software and services.

Join BD Parata’s Global Platform team as a Senior Product Manager and drive the future of pharmacy automation! Parata is a high-growth, strategic business in the Pharmacy Automation platform, offering cutting-edge central fill solutions that combine automation hardware, workflow management software, and services for high-volume dispensing operations. These solutions deliver clinical, operational, and financial improvements.

Reporting directly to the Associate Director, Central Fill, you will be at the forefront of leading the entire product lifecycle for software solutions, with a sharp focus on the Central Fill Customer Software Upgrade Strategy.

In this role, you will:

  • Understand global customer requirements to craft the optimal global portfolio strategy.
  • Serve as the Market Lead on the Central Fill Core Team for sustaining engineering R&D programs.
  • Collaborate with Regional Marketing teams to drive commercial excellence and achieve both near-term and long-term business goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Central Fill Software

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Central Fill Software Solutions, including simplification and end-of-life strategies
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
  • Work closely with sales and customer support teams to ensure seamless upgrades

Connect Product Management:

  • Executes product roadmap, being responsible for 14 programs during ASR period, and commercial strategy to ensure achievement of budgets, ASR plans, and longer-term sustainable growth in all customer segments (Health Systems, Retail, LTC, & National Accounts)
  • Effectively collaborates with Central Fill Core team to prioritize and implement roadmap to improve product reliability and reduce technical debt
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of product updates.

Connect Commercial Excellence:

  • Drive commercial excellence initiatives to maximize product adoption and revenue.
  • Develop messaging, training, product claims and product-specific content and tool.
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans.
  • Coordinates with supply-chain on global demand forecast and manages product-level supply continuity

Recurring Revenue Stream Optimization:

  • Optimize recurring revenue streams through software and services.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.

Education and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in the medical device and/or software product management
  • Demonstrated ability to set vision, develop and implement product strategies and drive successful execution to meet business objectives
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving results working across dynamic teams, complex business environments and matrix organizations
  • Strong analytics, market research, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work in high-paced environment and routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while effectively prioritizing
  • Strong collaborative mindset, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrix organizational structure
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
