Associate Director, EMI Platform Global Supply Chain Planning

Job Description Summary

Location: This position is based in our Eysins office and is open to individuals residing in the canton of Vaud with a valid Swiss work visa.

Join our dynamic team in Switzerland as the Associate Director of EMI Platform Global Supply Chain Planning. This critical leadership role is designed to drive effective decision-making in sales, inventory, and operations, ensuring we achieve our revenue and profit objectives while optimizing cost, cash, and service.

Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Deliver end-to-end EMI supply chain planning strategies to achieve optimum performance in cost, cash, and service, meeting both regional and global business objectives.
  • Comprehensive Planning: Oversee production, distribution, and demand planning at regional and global levels for finished goods and service parts.
  • Performance Management: Drive supply chain performance, conduct regular reviews, and ensure targets are met across EMI product families.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor load balancing between manufacturing sites and distribution centers, and address significant supply disruptions with alternative plans.
  • SIOP/IBP Processes: Contribute to global SIOP/IBP processes, ensuring timely decision-making and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Support and Expertise: Assist the Director of EMI Global Supply Chain Planning with SC planning expertise and end-to-end supply chain domains, aligned with BDx Global Supply Chain Planning strategy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, developing global supply and inventory strategies across EMI product families.
  • Coordination and Harmonization: Collaborate with Global BU Supply Chain Leaders to harmonize, standardize, and digitize planning processes, enhancing planner productivity.
  • Network Strategies: Contribute to end-to-end supply chain network strategies for EMI product families and support key business initiatives such as new product introduction, RECODE-Architecture, and ERP strategy.

Your profile:

  • 8-10 years Experience in senior Supply Chain roles, such as S&OP process leader in a matrix international organization.
  • Expertise in SIOP/IBP processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to manage complex supply chain networks and drive performance.
  • Proven experience in global supply chain planning and management.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
  • Extensive experience developing teams across different time zones, showcasing strong leadership abilities for effective supervision and coordination.
