Enterprise Program Manager "Remote" - North America (NA)
Business Description: Professional Services within Global Customer Service at BD, Implementation teams plan and implement Medication Management Solutions (MMS) including BD Pyxis Technologies and Alaris Infusion products and solutions nationally. Implementation teams include resources from the Project Management Office, Regional Consulting & Installation teams as well as System and Interface Engineering.
Accountabilities:
The Enterprise Program Manager partners with the BD and customer leadership teams to execute strategy, standards, and deliver a high-quality implementation experience for our customers. The Enterprise Program Manager is a senior staff position responsible for leading multiple concurrent BD implementation project teams (program) at strategic customer sites. This position is also the BD leader that provides oversight of critical issue resolution for each installed MMS solutions. Their intimate knowledge of product life cycle as well as customer relationship is essential to providing the customer a leader for planning, implementation, service & support across all BD MMS Solutions.
Home-based position with daily and up to 25 - 50% overnight regional travel. Candidates must live near a major airport anywhere in the U.S.
Major Job Responsibilities:
Supports strategic direction of BD and provides leadership to the product implementation teams at customer sites
Supports BD product implementation teams to ensure the successful completion of their projects
Lead internal and customer program leadership & steering committee status calls; conduct regular customer executive status calls
Facilitate internal communication, development & execution of mitigation plans to address program risks & issues
Responsible for strategic customer satisfaction (OSAT & NPS)
Develops and reports regular program performance metrics to leadership & committees
Optimally use established tools and standards for communicating information to executive team regarding implementation activities
Establishes strong relationships at all levels within BD and customer.
The EPM will analyze work effort and resources required across multiple projects and will find opportunities to decrease rework and drive operational and implementation efficiencies
Maintain strong industry and product knowledge
Lead enterprise level customer issues while partnering with GCS Service and Support to drive product issues and security concerns to timely resolution.
Works closely with the BD Product Platform and Implementation Readiness teams to help prioritize customer enhancement requests for future product releases
Support product proactive services and preventative maintenance compliance
Partner with Business Process Manager, Customer Success and others to support ease of doing business
What is expected of you for success in your role:
Demonstrates sophisticated knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and relevant clinical and IT operations
Facilitates strategic discussions to optimize implementation projects specific to the management of scope, requirements, financials, and schedule
Anticipates project risks and develops mitigation strategies/plans for more sophisticated risk factors
Serves as a mentor and trusted advisor to BD Implementation teams
Presents and communicates project status to senior level business management
Provide leadership to resolve conflicts across project team members and customers
Provide governance over the technical & solution design, implementation process, and coordination of BD resources
Influences customer to implement enterprise level standardizations
Work with customer and appropriate BD teams/resources to inspire changes to processes/methodologies that will improve the implementation & critical issue process.
Ability to build BD product implementation roadmap plans based on solution integrations, release compatibility, customer drivers for sequence, grouping, value, and goals.
Qualifications:
BA, BS or MBA preferred; PMP certification optional
At least 3+ years of experience leading clinical product/medical device implementation projects in acute care settings
Consistent record as change champion and change leader
Proven record as matrix leader of robust technology and clinical teams
Consistent track record of forming teams in a dynamic growing company
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong grasp of technology and its impact on software deployment
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
Upon hire, must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis
