Job Summary:

Lead the management and implementation of system platforms used by BD’s technical and field service associates. Architect, design, implement and maintain system platforms that enable the technical and field service operations. Ensure seamless integration and adoption of the right technologies to support business goals of the technical and field service organization.

Job Responsibilities:(Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

• System platform selection and implementation: lead the selection and implementation of system platforms that meet the evolving needs of BD’s global technical and field service organization.

• Architecture planning and design: develop and maintain architecture plans and roadmaps for technical and field service capabilities and the technology platforms that enable these capabilities, including development of high-level designs, technical roadmaps and implementation strategies that ensure seamless integration with the larger system landscape and required data sources.

• System integration and interoperability: ensure that technical and field service technology platforms are integrated with other critical systems, such as CRM, ERP and Quality platforms.

• System configuration and customization: work closely with stakeholders to configure and customize technical and field service technology platforms to meet the specific needs of the business, ensuring data accuracy, security, compliance and performance.

• System maintenance and support: lead IT support teams to maintain and support technical and field service technology platforms, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimizing negative business impact.

• Business requirements gathering and analysis: work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for the technical and field service function, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in IT solution architecture, of which 2+ years in a leadership role preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Technical skills:

  • Deep technical and functional knowledge and understanding of system platforms that enable technical and field service business operations

  • Broad understanding of CRM, ERP and other critical technology platforms that form the backbone of BD’s business operations

  • Proven experience and deep understanding of system integration

• Soft skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends

  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to lead and motivate teams

There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary or hourly rate offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and any step rate pay system of the actual work location, as applicable to the role or position. Salary or hourly pay ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.

Salary Range Information

$134,500.00 - $221,900.00 USD Annual
