Job Summary

The ideal talent will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and developing new market opportunities for our End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) portfolio. The Market Development must be experienced and knowledgeable in the Vascular and Dialysis Space of products or have significant experience in the related healthcare sector.

You will work closely with global, regional and country commercial teams, marketing, medical and clinical affairs, and market access teams to drive growth and expansion of BD’s ESKD Portfolio in the region. The ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders is essential for this position.

Essential Job Functions

  • Understanding of regional and country level ESKD market penetration status, competitors, purchasing processes, market access and reimbursement requirements.
  • Deep understanding of procedures, product clinical use, customer needs, and processes.
  • Identify and prioritize new market development opportunities for dialysis vascular access and maintenance devices. Assist in developing prioritized country focus with both short- and long-term strategies.
  • Partners with country and functional teams to shape and execute market development strategies.
  • Work with leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Senior physicians in countries for therapy awareness, adoption, and advocacy.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for HCPs on the use of endovascular medical devices for ESKD patients.
  • Provide clinical support during procedures involving endovascular medical devices to drive therapy adoption.
  • Build and deliver content to support market development activities, including presentations, white papers, and case studies.
  • Support and shape practice with consensus shaping, market access, awareness, building communities of practice, and evidence generation.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and conferences and engage with key opinion leaders and customers to collect market insights.
  • Collaborate with country sales teams to provide support for local market development initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, procedure / clinical trends, and competitive activity, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify customer unmet needs and insights to improve business opportunities.
  • Development relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment.

Work Environment

While performing the office duties of this job, the employee may be in an open cubicle environment. You must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

While performing customer facing duties of this job, you will be in a healthcare environment of hospitals, operating rooms, catheterization laboratories and clinics.

Our Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably Life Sciences, Radiography, Nursing, Science, Bio-engineering or relevant.MBA preferred.
  • 5+ Years in Medical Device sales, marketing, business development, market development or global marketing preferability in the vascular access space (and/or)
  • 5+ Years of Radiography or Nursing Experience in Dialysis and Endovascular Radiology.
  • Ability to understand technical and clinical aspects of business.
  • Strong understanding of the advanced vascular access device market and key trends. Subject matter expert level.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer focused and results orientated.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Refined ability to influence cross functional teams with authority.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Must hold a valid passport and willingness to travel internationally as required. 30% travel requirement.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Effective in organizing and prioritizing tasks to achieve established deadlines.
  • Adept in collaborating with others to meet project goals, timelines, and/or deliverables.
