Job Description Summary
The Digital Marketing Executive has a multifaceted role, combining technical expertise and the ability to build and guide content generation, alongside an advanced understanding of marketing and metrics to build a more customer centric digital presence for BD in the UK & Ireland. Their main objective will be to support marketing teams in driving traffic and dwell time within the digital elements of omnichannel campaigns. Sharing insights on customer behaviour whilst keeping relevant digital platforms up to date, regularly refreshed with new content, whilst supporting the review of existing content with appropriate experts in their field.Alongside their external focus, the Digital Marketing Executive will support internal communications within the business, keeping associates and teams up to date with relevant information through a number of tools and platforms.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Facilitate larger and more complex multi-channel digital campaigns, providing context and guidance to the marketing teams on best practice
- Execute paid acquisition campaigns including search, display and social media advertising
- Guide the ongoing development of customer centric website content to improve SEO and dwell time
- Create and publish social media posts and campaigns
- Ensure brand consistency on all digital platforms
- Routinely monitor and report on the performance of digital campaigns across our channel portfolio and devise strategies to increase traffic or conversion
- Encourage and facilitate marketing automation campaigns, including drip campaigns and triggered events where practicable
- Provide insight to the business on the healthcare digital space through social listening tools
- Work alongside the UK Marketing team and other key stakeholders to plan, review and update the coordinated marketing calendar.
- Support the delivery of internal communications through the intranet site, emails and other communications tools
About you
- Passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing
- Knowledge and experience using content management systems.
- Experience with social media networks including X, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Experience with paid media platforms including Google Ads
- Knowledge of Photoshop
- The ability to work and learn as an efficient, reliable and flexible team member
- Excellent organisational skills, with a sharp attention to detail
- Creative flair to bring fresh ideas to the team
- Excellent written English communications skills
- Ability to work on a diverse range of tasks, working to strict deadlines
- Willingness to accept and act on feedback
- Ability to manage multiple projects with numerous stakeholders
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
