The Senior Automation Specialist is responsible for supporting the Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives in GBS organization by assessing, designing and developing tools, databases and automations for internal company use.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Automate financial and non-financial company processes
• Develop tools, databases, and macro-based automations for internal company use
• Perform automation assessments to identify the best technology fit based on ROI
• Assess, design, and implement tools, databases, and macro-based automations for development
• Manage the internal automation lifecycle from assessment to production deployment by proposing and coordinating process changes to deliver optimal solutions in the GBS organization
• Execute ad-hoc improvement requests

About you

• You are a proven developer with a passion for automation and digital solutions and a track record of successfully implementing custom applications and workflows in a global organization. 
• Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience with a proven track record of developing tools, databases, workflows and macro-based automations.
• Very good knowledge of programming languages (VBA, VB.net, SAP scripting, C#), Microsoft Power Suite, Front-End (HTML, CSS) and Back-End (SQL, Azure) web technologies
• Any other programming language would be a plus.
