Job Description Summary
We are looking for an Architectural Profile with strong experience in retail design and layout, to join our Spanish Projects team.The role will focus on the design, planning and coordination of technical and architectural solutions for customer installations, working closely with internal teams, clients and third parties.
This position requires proven experience in retail environments, where site constraints, workflows, compliance and customer experience are key factors. Experience in the pharmaceutical will be highly valued.
This is a field-based role, based out of the San Agustín office, with regular site visits and a direct reporting line to the Head of Projects.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural and technical design of installation projects in retail environments.
- Carry out on-site visits to analyse space constraints, flows and technical limitations.
- Develop and manage layout concepts and technical drawings (CAD) adapted to retail and pharmacy standards.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, installers and other 3rd parties throughout the project lifecycle.
- Compile and manage project documentation: layouts, drawings, project plans, milestones, meeting notes and change requests.
- Translate customer and regulatory requirements into feasible architectural and technical solutions.
- Support the preparation of build configurations and technical data within internal systems
- Manage changes of scope and support the preparation of additional offers or redesigns when required.
- Ensure that designs comply with health & safety, regulatory and operational requirements, especially in pharmacy environments.
- Coordinate installation planning considering delivery timelines, site readiness and resource availability.
- Maintain accurate project tracking and documentation within CRM systems.
- Act as a technical and architectural reference for internal teams during installation and commissioning phases.
- Support the Head of Projects with technical input for reports, reviews and presentations.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in architectural or technical design for retail environments (store layouts, customer flows, constrained spaces).
- Strong understanding of site-based projects and coordination of multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with CAD systems and producing technical drawings.
- Solid exposure to project coordination or project management within construction, retail or engineering environments.
- Highly valued: experience in the pharmacy sector.
- Ability to communicate clearly and assertively with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
- Structured, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Project Management qualification is a plus, but architectural and design expertise is the primary focus.
Salary range for this role: EUR 41,000 - 45,000
