Job Description

As a DevSecOps Platform Engineer at Becton Dickinson Technology Campus India, you will play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and evolving our secure development and deployment platforms. You will focus on integrating security practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring our applications are robust, compliant, and delivered efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with integrated security gates, automated testing, and vulnerability scanning tools.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
* Implement and manage security tools and practices within the development lifecycle, including SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA.
* Monitor and maintain the security posture of our platforms and applications, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
* Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define and enforce security best practices and policies.
* Develop and maintain documentation for DevSecOps processes, tools, and platforms.
* Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to continuously improve security and reliability.
* Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance our DevSecOps capabilities.
* Provide guidance and support to development teams on secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar role with a strong focus on security.
* Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
* Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
* Solid understanding of security principles and practices, including threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure coding.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform mandatory ).
* Familiarity with security testing tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA).
* Knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
