Job Description

 Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet product and schedule requirements.
 Conduct supplier capability assessments to verify qualifications.
 Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems.
 Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory
requirements.
 Drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement during audits
 Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
 Train suppliers on specific quality system processes and best practices.
 Maintain detailed records of supplier quality performance and audit findings.
 Ensure all quality activities are documented and comply with industry standards and company policies.
 Support new product development by integrating supplier quality considerations into the process.
 Responsible for overall management of suppliers which includes review and trending of supplier’s
performance, supplier audits and maintenance of the current existing suppliers.
 Review supplier’s performance periodically to identify adverse suppliers for the next focused supplier
improvement program.
 Maintain and update, when necessary, Supplier Management procedures to comply to Division and
Global procedural requirement
 Responsible for the development of supplier audit schedule. Perform supplier audits and assessments
per plan and visit supplier periodically to make sure suppliers comply to our requirements.
 Support activities related to projects (supplier onboarding, PPAP, supplier documentation review etc.).
 Liaise with complaints team on the evaluation of complaints related to suppliers. Responsible for
determination if SCAR issuance is required, issuance of SCARs, follow up and review of SCAR
response & EV monitoring.
 Monitor material nonconformances related to suppliers including aging and is a member of the cross -
functional investigation, root cause, and corrective action team to resolve material nonconformances.
 Attend monthly Material Review Board Meeting to support SCAR & Supplier Audit status updates.
 Participate in quarterly SMC meeting to provide Supplier Audit & Assessment, Control plans and Waiver
updates.
 Assist superior in executing special projects or assignments. Perform any other relevant and related
responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by the Management.

 Serve as SCAR Coordinator f or the SCAR Power App for Kulim Plant. Ensures SCAR information is
updated into the SCAR Power App which is a basis for the BD Supplier Scorecard which monitors the
supplier performances on a global level.
 Facilitate appropriate and compliant use of change control and risk management processes.
 Communicate across functions/departments.
 Develop working knowledge of applicable regulatory, Corporate and/or Business Unit requirements.
 Support the BD Excellence operating system implementation.
 Assists in regulatory and customer audits as needed. May conduct internal and supplier audits. Comply
with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound
quality assurance principles.
 Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD Safety regulations, policies, and procedures including
RCRA Hazardous waste regulations.
