We’re seeking an experiencedProject Managerto join BD on a2‑year fixed‑term contract, leading the end‑to‑end delivery of capital equipment and IT implementation projects acrossAustralia and New Zealand.

In this role, you’ll manage complex installations forBD Rowa™, BD Pyxis™ and Alaris™- taking projects from purchase order through to go‑live and ensuring a seamless customer experience every step of the way. You’ll work at the intersection of healthcare, technology and operations, supporting growth across hospitals.

Your Day‑to‑Day

As a Project Manager within BD’s Medication Management Solutions team, you’ll own multiple concurrent projects and ensure successful delivery against scope, timeline and customer expectations.

Your day will include:

  • Managing large‑scale capital and IT implementation projects from PO to go‑live across ANZ

  • Planning, coordinating and delivering complex programs of work to meet customer and business objectives

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive, professional and solution‑focused experience

  • Communicating clearly across diverse stakeholder groups, from frontline users to senior leaders

  • Supporting customers in the design, delivery and knowledge transfer of BD MMS upgrades and new implementations

  • Driving all technical, application, installation and training activities in collaboration with internal BD teams

  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with customers, vendors and cross‑functional BD stakeholders

  • Monitoring project progress closely, identifying risks early and proactively managing timelines and dependencies

  • Ensuring projects meet agreed delivery milestones and revenue objectives

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of a best‑in‑class implementation function

About You

You’re an organised, detail‑driven Project Manager who enjoys working in complex environments and balancing multiple moving parts - without losing sight of the customer experience.

You’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated project management experience delivering capital equipment and/or clinical IT projects

  • Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects from initiation to handover

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across customers, internal teams and external vendors

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional working groups

  • Proven ability to identify, assess and manage timeline and delivery risks

  • A customer‑centric mindset and calm, solutions‑focused approach

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and proactive problem‑solving ability

  • Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and best‑practice project delivery

  • PMP® or similar certification (desirable)

  • Experience with Smartsheet or other project management tools (advantageous)
