The Director, Product Marketing, MMS provides strategic leadership for the product marketing function across a portfolio, owning multi‑product/category strategies, talent and capability building, and commercial outcomes across Regions. This role sets long‑term vision, shapes investments, partners with the MMS Business Unit Leadership Team, and ensures compliant, high‑impact execution.

Responsibilities:

Strategy, Portfolio & Investment:

  • Set the long‑term product marketing vision and portfolio strategy aligned to MMS objectives; prioritize bets and allocate budgets.
  • Own multi‑product/category positioning architecture and standards; ensure integration with brand and commercial strategies.
  • Sponsor business cases and funding for transformational initiatives; steward P&L impact and risk/mitigation plans.

Organization Leadership & Capability:

  • Scale best practices for insights, messaging, claims governance (Veeva), and omnichannel execution.

Launch & Market Outcomes:

  • Define and govern segmentation, customer personas, insights and benefit ladders; ensure frameworks are adopted consistently across Regions.
  • Govern cross‑functional launch excellence; ensure stage‑gate discipline, KPI attainment and post‑launch optimization across Regions.
  • Establish enterprise‑level measurement and dashboards; review performance with senior leadership and course‑correct to deliver results.

Compliance, Labeling & External Representation:

  • Ensure compliance and brand consistency.
  • Act as senior spokesperson for product value propositions with customers, KOLs and partners, in coordination with Medical and Commercial leads.

Stakeholder Influence & Cross‑Functional Partnership:

  • Partner with Platforms, R&D, Regulatory, and Regions to align portfolio choices with clinical and commercial imperatives.
  • Communicate strategy, trade‑offs and recommendations to executive leadership; influence decisions across geographies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years in product marketing/medtech commercialization with proven leadership of multi‑market portfolios and teams.
  • Track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes and building capabilities across global, matrixed organizations.
  • Adept at managing compliance risk while enabling speed.
  • Advanced financial fluency (P&L ownership, pricing, investment cases) and executive communication skills.
