Position Summary (Purpose and Fundamental Goals of the Position):

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Leader to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance BI capabilities at APAC ADx.

This senior individual contributor role is responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable analytics and reporting solutions, while acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders. The role will bridge business needs with data strategy, enabling actionable insights to support scientific, commercial, and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

BI Strategy & Solution Development

Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Excel).Establish scalable and standardized reporting frameworks, including KPI definitions and performance tracking.Drive automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.

Advanced Analytics & Insights

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.Translate complex business questions into analytical approaches and data models. Support performance analysis across functions (e.g., sales operations, funnel management, end customer insights, finance, SCM).

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with cross-functional teams (ComEx, Sales, Marketing, Finance) to understand data needs and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing data-driven recommendations. Present complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Data Management, Governance & Quality

Oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data ingestion, warehousing, modeling, and reporting. Establish and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Drive adoption of a “single source of truth” across systems and reporting.

Data Architecture & Engineering Enablement

Develop and maintain data models, data integration processes, and data pipelines. Collaborate with IT on data infrastructure. Ensure data accessibility and scalability for analytics use cases.

Tools, Innovation & Digital Enablement

Evaluate and recommend BI tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously enhance analytics capabilities. Promote self-service analytics across the organization. Apply advanced analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, statistical analysis) where relevant.

Capability Building & Thought Leadership

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to analysts and BI developers. Build data literacy across teams through training, playbooks, and best practices. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Compliance & Data Security

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data security policies. Implement best practices in data governance and risk management.

Support data analytics integration initiatives, including system migrations, business integrations, and harmonization of data models, ensuring continuity, consistency, and minimal disruption to reporting and insights.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in data analytics or BI, with strong exposure to enterprise-level analytics environments.
• Proven expertise in end-to-end BI solution development (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift).
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica, Python).
• Experience working in cross-functional and regional environments.
• Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, or predictive modeling is a plus.
