Job Description Summary

FP&A analyzes financial conditions and provides critical advice to key stakeholders, including business unit heads, sales, and marketing, contributing to business growth as a business partner. This position plays a crucial role in business strategy and decision-making, making it a highly responsible role.
Additionally, this position closely collaborates with the global Finance team, providing opportunities to participate in international projects and gain a global perspective.

Job Description

• Responsible for financial planning, business/performance analysis, budgeting process management, and other cross functional projects.
• Monitor and update P&L forecast quarterly and making presentations to Regional / Japan management for budget and the latest projections.
• Primarily accountable for management of income statement (all accounts from sales to operating income) and selected BS accounts of the Business Unit (BU) to which he or she is assigned to
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the assigned BU / Japan management team
• Provide value added financial information and analysis to the assigned BU management, demonstrating close and reliable partnership.
• Lead and support the effective deployment of global/regional finance processes and practices

Qualification

Education and experience:

• Bachelor Degree, MBA or equivalent degree is as plus
• 8+ year professional experience including 5+ year experience in financial planning and analysis function.
• Experience in the health-care industry with manufacturing function is plus. FMCG etc. product related industry experience can be considered.
• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent qualification is plus.

• Proven ability to quickly ramp up and excel in a highly matrixed, complex environment, with demonstrated capability to drive and lead integration
• Effective communication and presentation skills both oral and written
• Strong sense of teamwork, good interpersonal and communication skill
• Ability to do multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
• Strong storytelling skills are required
• Understanding of finance/accounting rules, strong consciousness towards compliance and policy
• Good cross functional project experience and past achievement
• Advanced Excel / PowerPoint / SAP or equivalent
