Job Description Summary
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect with strong expertise in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, and automation to help define and deliver secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions. This role is critical to advancing our cloud strategy, maturing our Infrastructure as Code capabilities, and embedding security throughout our CI/CD and platform engineering processes.
You will collaborate across engineering, security, applications, and operations teams to create modern, automated, and secure cloud architectures aligned to enterprise standards and best practices.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Strategy
- Design and implement secure, scalable solutions across Azure and AWS following industry best practices and architectural frameworks.
- Develop cloud architecture patterns, reusable modules, and reference designs supporting compute, networking, identity, storage, and other cloud services.
- Provide guidance on cloud adoption, modernization, and workload migration strategies.
DevSecOps & CI/CD Automation
- Architect and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, compliance checks, and governance controls.
- Embed security throughout build and release processes (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, IaC scanning).
- Standardize pipeline templates and frameworks for application and infrastructure teams.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Lead IaC design and deployment using Terraform and Azure DevOps for Azure and multi‑cloud provisioning.
- Develop secure, reusable IaC modules with policy‑as‑code and embedded guardrails.
- Implement drift detection, compliance automation, and best‑practice governance.
Automation & Orchestration
- Build and enhance infrastructure automation workflows integrated with CI/CD, orchestration tools, and cloud services.
- Develop and maintain API‑based integrations, including ServiceNow workflows tied to IaC pipelines (e.g., automated change control, provisioning, approvals).
- Promote automation-first delivery to reduce manual work and increase speed, consistency, and security.
Platform & Container Engineering
- Support deployment and secure operations of container platforms and managed container services (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native container platforms).
- Contribute to enterprise patterns for image security, cluster configuration, runtime governance, and cloud provider integrations.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Provide architectural guidance to cross-functional engineering teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive adoption of frameworks that improve availability, resilience, and security.
- Participate in enterprise architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technology strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS).
- Strong knowledge of compute, network, and storage technologies.
- Hands‑on experience building and deploying IaC with Terraform and Azure DevOps.
- Experience designing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of automation/orchestration tools, workflows, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with API integrations, preferably ServiceNow/ IaC automation.
- Strong strategic thinking, technical problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes), Docker security, and cloud‑native platforms.
- Familiarity with zero‑trust principles, secrets management, and automated vulnerability management.
- Microsoft Azure or AWS certifications in architecture and/or security.
- Experience supporting global deployments and large-scale enterprise implementation projects.
